I asked her what was stopping her from doing the things that she wanted to do and she told me responsabilities, time, lack of money and what everyone else would think if she had the courage to do what she wanted.
Since I had traveled a similar road and had met so many others along the way who were all searching for similar goals, wishes and dreams, I told her that the first thing that she had to understand was that we each have to create a life for ourselves, one that reflects who we are and what makes us happy.
We have to stop listening to the voices outside of ourselves and listen to our creative souls who are telling us that it is time to do the things that matter to us.
For to live a life that others may not understand is okay, as long as we live it with a gentle hand, a creative mind and a tender heart.
