Once upon a time there was a beautiful princess who grew up to marry a handsome prince and they lived happily ever after?
Well this was not Louise's story. She may have been a beautiful princess, but like most of us, she was a real woman and through this experience, I will share fourteen years of research with you about her life. To successfully tell Louise's story in this creative writing adventure, I need your help.
The Watercolour Artist Experiment eBook (see link above)
"I want you to imagine yourself standing in front of a massive hardwood door that says “The Creative Laboratory”. The door looks very old and you can see that time has worn its way into the smooth wooden surface, leaving deep dark scratch marks and a tarnished brass door knob. You look at the handle and hesitate to touch it for it seems so unlike you to go towards the unknown. You are frightened by this mysterious place and you feel your heartbeat quicken. What are you doing here you ask yourself? How did you get here? Maybe you should turn back towards what is safe and familiar. Yet curiosity gets the better of you and you slowly open the door and peak in to see that there are hundreds of people like yourself already in the room. "
Experiment: Can a community work together to tell a real fairy tale?
Hypothesis: If someone has a story to tell that is based on a very real princess who led an incredible life, would it be possible to use the power of social media in its many forms to connect a group of interested people from around the world to create what seems like an impossible story telling adventure?
Desired Result: A creative force will be formed with the intent to bring a story to life. This group will help the author raise a global awareness about the story. They will help her write the story, have it published and turned into a movie based on a real woman, who just happened to be a princess. Her story will offer a timely message about our need to open the door to our own limitations and the creative connection that we all share and the need to express it.
When we are motivated by goals that have deep meaning, by dreams that need completion, by pure love that needs expressing; then we truly live life.
