From the day that you first showed up in this big wide world, you set out on a path to live your best life. From the start it was not an easy road to travel for there were many obstacles, twists and turns, failures and dead ends.
But instinctively you knew, that you would find a way to get through the challenges. When you fell off your new bicycle the first time you tried it, you got up and got back on because you wanted to ride that new red bike like the bigger kids. Failure wasn't an option and you learned that if you tried again, you would succeed. Back then you filled your life story with fun stuff like wishes, goals and dreams and life was filled with all kinds of possibilities that you thought you could achieve.
But then you grew up and lost some of your daring ability to try after you failed at doing something. With each disappointment, loss and failure, you retreated into a story of disappointment. Some of you became a victim and felt that there was no way you were ever going to get to live the life that you wanted. Others became bitter and lashed out at those who kept on trying and critically judged those who succeeded in doing what you couldn't.
The point of this blog post is to say that everyday we are all given a 24 hour block of time which we must use to find our way to the good things. In order to find the good, we must first imagine what it is that we want and then do what is necessary to turn our thoughts into our reality.
We have to step out of the limitations of our story and go after that dream because we only have so much time left to live our best life.
Regrets are worthless......
